  • Volleyball @ Hangtime

    Hangtime Sports is offering two volleyball programs that will culminate in February.  Fourth/Fifth grade volleyball on Mondays from 4:00-5:30 pm and Middle School Volleyball on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 pm.  Both programs are on the website and have started, but Hangtime will still accept late registrations.

    Middle School Volleyball League will start late-February and run for six weeks on Thursday nights.  If you are interested in playing and have a team or are an interested individual, contact Bob Sells at Hangtime, 989-633-4667 or bob.sells@hangtimesports.com.  Registration opportunity will be on the Hangtime website soon: www.hangtimesports.com.

    Hangtime Sports Volleyball Club will be holding its organizational meeting for the 2007 season on Friday, February 16 at 6:00 pm in the balcony.  The club evaluation dates will be posted at the meeting along with the cost of the program.  The HTVBC runs from early April to early June.  Players are placed on teams according to their ability, assigned a coach and compete in 4-7 tournaments during the season.  Teams will practice twice a week at Hangtime and tournaments will be throughout the state.  YOU CAN REGISTER YOUR CHILD ONLINE, UNDER OTHER EVENTS.

    All high school and middle school volleyball athletes who are not playing on your respective school team can have an opportunity to train and play volleyball at Hangtime Sports.  The Volleyball Coordinator at Hangtime is putting together a workout schedule for each respective level or play.   

    Women, Men and Coed 4-on-4 Volleyball Leagues will be offered at Hangtime Sports starting in February. Watch for details on the web.

    Private, semi-private and small group training is available in volleyball at Hangtime Sports. Contact Bob Sells for information on times and dates available.

    Hangtime Sports will be holding basketball tryouts for Boy’s USSSA basketball teams in March instead of Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Hangtime is also in search of coaches who may be interested in coaching a team.  Interested participants (players and/or coaches), can contact Steve Albertson or Andrew Brown at 989- 633-4667. Pre-registration and dates will be available on-line soon.

    Hangtime Sports is offering boys Basketball Mini-leagues in February.  There is an eight game guarantee and a single elimination ending, with each team playing two games a night.  The cost per team is $475  Registration deadline is February 12, 2007.

    VISIT THE WEBSITE TO CHECK OUT OUR REMAINING BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS YOU CAN REGISTER FOR THROUGH JULY.

    Michigan High School Boy’s Showcase will be on Sunday, March 25.  The showcase is open to all 9th- 11th graders and unsigned seniors.  Register on-line.  Each participant will receive a written evaluation by Van Coleman.  College coaches are invited and will be sent information on participants who make that request.  Questions about the Showcase can be directed to Marc Sroufe at 989-633-4667 or marc.sroufe@hangtimesports.com

    The Rising Stars Exposure Camp for girls and boys in grades 6th- 8th will be held on June 30 – July 1 at Hangtime Sports.  Each participant will receive a written evaluation from Van Coleman.  This camp includes a jersey, shorts and t-shirt for each participant.  Questions can be directed to Marc Sroufe at 989-633-4667 or marc.sroufe@hangtimesports.com.

    Individual Basketball Instruction from Steve Albertson and Andrew Brown is available by appointment.  Call Hangtime Sports to contact either coach at 989- 633-4667.

  •   Interested in playing Indoor Flag Football?   High School and adult 6 on 6 team competition is taking place on Wednesday evenings from 9-10 pm.  Make up your own teams of 7. Contact Kelly Church for further information at 989-633-4667 or kelly.church@hangtimesports.com. 
       
     
  • Fencing @ Hangtime
  •   Three Rivers Fencing Club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Hangtime Sports.  Class and drop in fencing are available.  For more information you can contact Guy Sabrie, Head Coach at 989-430-4644 or Mary Beth Rousseau, President at 989-837-5428.
